This stunning suite was designed by our friend Lisa Liddy of Joolz by Lisa. Her site is filled with some of the most gorgeous designs I've ever seen.....especially if you have an appreciation of lampwork beads. Her love of the art form shines through in all of her creations. Here she's used a set of our holiday Gumdrops and a unique sterling chain to create an entire ensemble of festive holiday jewelry. To see more of Lisa's beautiful work, drop by her site and be sure and tell her we sent you over!
Jade.....This is an absolutely breath-taking piece designed by Joe Hanlon of Blue Springs, MO.
Joe has taken one of our focal beads, and accented it with seafoam amazonite gemstones, etched green lampwork spacer beads from Lisa at Alchemy Lampworks, some cool yellow jade barrels, swarovski crystals, and of course gleaming sterling silver. I've gotta say, I loved this focal when I torched it, but I had no idea that it could look THIS good!! I really love all of the different shapes that Joe has used in the necklace....it really shows his talent for combining eclectic components, yet the piece is designed to draw the eye right into that focal bead. For more information about Joe's fabulous jewelry designs, you can contact him at goodjoe@sbcglobal.net
Tightly Wound.....another stunning piece by Joe Hanlon.
Here Joe has combined one of my favorite focal beads with some fabulous faceted smoky quartz coins, thick rectangles and rounds of onyx, faceted howlite rondelles, swarovski crystals and tons of gleaming sterling silver. The components he's chosed really pull the colors from the focal, and demonstrate just how elegant an organic lampwork bead can be. Matching earrings complete the suite with a simple design that allows the focal to really stand out.
Indulgence......What a spectacular piece! Designed by Claire DeRosa of Neptune, NJ. Claire has combined our lampwork beads with gorgeous sterling wire and gold-flled twisted wire to create this lovely bangle that demonstrates the versatility of mixed metals. You can contact Claire at tobemejewelry@aol.com or see more of her work at www.tobemejewelry.etsy.com
Bermuda Blue.....a gorgeous piece designed by Christy Weeks. Christy has accented a set of our Aqua Dreams lampwork beads with some stunning hammered silver lentils, pretty czech bellflowers and other unique silver accents. I love the unique, eclectic design of this piece, and think its a great example of how you can take so many totally different beading components and come up with a design that really flows.

Nephertite bracelet.....by Marte Johnson, Amarillo, TX
Made from one of the best sellers in our catalog, and still a favorite! And the pretty gold-filled accents really show them off!
Marte should really be showing off some of her own beads, though. You can sometimes find her lampwork beads on JustBeads, listed under Margapoodesign, and you can contact her to learn more about her work at WillMarte@aol.com
Oil Slick....another pretty bracelet by Marte. Verna made this set quite a while ago, while exploring some of the neat tricks that petroleum green glass will do. Highlighted here with bright orange and tempered by ivory, some of the reactions are unbelieveable!
Donna's Delight......by Donna Boehm of Berlin, CT. Donna's been a client of ours since our earliest days of listing auctions on JustBeads, and quickly became a terrific friend. Her jewelry creations are just stunning, and she's promised to share some more of her photos with us in the future. For more information about Donna's work, you can contact her at djboehm2@aol.com
Passionate.....another stunning piece by Donna. One thing she and Verna share is a passion for purple. Donna loves purple beads, and Verna loves working with purple glass. Talk about a match made in heaven!! This is a close-up shot of a gorgeous lariat that Donna designed using a freeform tabular focal from one of Mother's early sets, along with some complementary bumpies. It really highlights both the lampwork beads and Donna's talent for wirework, and gives a great balance to the design.
Clematis.......by Delia Harter of Lynn Haven, Florida. To make the necklace, Dee used some 6mm lavender opal Czech druks and some little lavender opalescent faceted rondelles. For added spice and to pick up the color in the lampwork beads, each one is surrounded by a Swarovski Pacific opal 4mm bicone - a perfect match!
