She's been showing off some tremendous pieces lately, and her site is full of gorgeous eye candy! Her dot beads and bead sets will amaze you. Biaggiabeads Jane Kolb is an artist after my own heart....not only is she a pink fanatic, but she makes some of the most fabulous encased florals you'll ever see!! That's a combination that is really dangerous for my budget!! Jane's beads are superb, and her heart's as big as her native state of Texas. Drop by and be prepared to be amazed! Square One Beads One look at Heather's work and you'll be stunned to know what a short time she's been lampworking. She's undoubtedly found her true calling at the torch, and her jewelry designs are a sight to behold as well. Heather is going to go far in our art, and I'll be proud to say "I knew her when...." Ruskin Designs Jodie Ruskin has a talent for designs as eclectic as those you'll see from Mother and I. Florals, organics, raised stringer designs....Jodie does them all, and she does them well. And her chainmaille work is positively drool- worthy!! She's also recently started working in boro, and from what I've seen so far, the results are going to be just as stunning as her soft glass beads. Ronnie Renee Our friend Ronnie is one of the most versatile glass artists I know. Her florals are stunningly elegant, and she also makes the most whimsical sculpted animals you'll ever see. I've had the delight of receiving several of Ronnie's creations, and they are some of my favorites that I reach for over and over again to wear. She's a truly talented artist, and her work never fails to amaze me. Wilma's Whimseys Bead and jewelry artist Wilma Travis has a flare for color and design. She offers stunning finished jewelry in many styles and designs, as well as handmade lampwork to use in your own creations. Alive Lampwork & Jewelry My pal, Ali VandeGrift has such a bright future ahead of her!! When you see her work, you won't believe that she's only just graduated high school!! Ali's beads are fun, whimsical, and full of the exuberance she feels for all things glass. I'm so proud that she'll be pursuing her passion for the flame when she heads off to Salem College this fall to study in their scientific glass program. One of these days....probably not too far in the future, Ali is gonna be one of those "famous" beadmakers whose work is out of my price range, so if you're smart, you'll grab some of her beads while you can still get them!! Rhapsody Fire Beads Suzy Lambert is one of those beadmakers that I admire fervently for her unique vision and imagination. Her kimono dolls are sheer whimsy translated into glass, and I don't know another beadmaker whose work makes me smile more often than hers. One look at her creations and you instantly know what a joyful, free-spirit resides in her soul. She inspires us all to find our own unique voice and translate that into our art. LT's Expressions Stacy Braiuca is an artist whose work speaks volumes about who she is as a person. Her Native American heritage flows through her pieces and keeps her connected to the things in life that are most important to her. Stacy is obviously at home at her torch....creating pieces that are very unique, and clearly come from deep within her soul. Stop by and tell her that "Ma & Sis" sent you! Wee Gems Designs We've dubbed Kari the "Princess of Sparkle" because of her zealous use of cz's in her work!! Stunning florals with sparkly centers are her trademark lampwork beads, but this multi-talented mother of four does many other designs in glass, as well as a full line of jewelry for both kids and adults. I swear, I don't know how she manages it all, but she does it with a style and grace all her own. |
